Pick A Bagel

Omg this was my first time going to New York and I will tell you the one thing I had in my sites on was getting a classic lox spread from a bagel shop in New York and this did not disappoint. It was quick and probably the best bagels I’ve ever ate and I appreciate it! Thank you for making my New York experience complete.

Lots of options for bagels, different types of cream cheese and extras you can choose from. The options make it difficult to choose but at the end it’s so worth it! The bagel is huge and they’re definitely generous with the cream cheese they put in your bagel. Orange juice was delicious too. Even though in the morning it’s a bit crowded, the line moves fast. It’s just difficult to find seating during that time. I’ll definitely be going here again.

Reliable, delicious, and fast - the perfect NY bagel spot in this area! I went multiple times over a 5 day trip and never had a bad experience. The bagels are nice and fluffy, my order was always correct, and the quality was always on point. The BECs had just the right amounts of each ingredient and seasoning, and the scallion cream cheese bagel was heaped with cream cheese. The orange juice was also great and tasted very fresh. Make sure you know what you want and keep moving through the line - it’s a bit chaotic, but that’s how it ends up so quick!

If you came to NYC and did not have a bagel for breakfast then why did you even come to NYC? I was in a hurry to make it to an appointment one fine morning in NYC. Pick a Bagel was in my way so I had to stop to check it out. The line was long, so was the wait but was it all worth it? YES! The bagel was big, the bagel was in between soft and firm, the cream cheese was flowing, the salmon was fresh, the onion was crisp and the capers were tangy. Every bite felt like I am motor boating…. If you know you know. 4.1 is a pretty accurate score for this place.

Great bagel store with plenty of options. Don't forget to ask for your bagel toasted. Also ask for a schmear! Otherwise you are getting a big gob of cream cheese you can't possibly eat. Cream cheese with smoked salmon is $15! They also sell muffins, cookies, and more. The seating area can be inadequate in the morning rusg hour but they have some nice outdoor tables as well.
