Rosie O'grady's

I know Rosie O’Grady’s is what many may call a tourist place but I am a tourist and we had an awesome time here. The wine is very reasonable for the brands they feature. The grilled chicken salad was very good and and too large for my wife to finish. The service was friendly and spot on. Best of all, they have a friendly vibe about the place. Very pleasant and a fun place to be. Will definitely return.

Rosie O'Grady's is one of our all-time favorite New York City pubs. The restaurant is large and the bar area is fantastic. Have visited here dozens of times over the years and never had a bad experience with the food or service, and this includes a couple of private parties attended. Rosie's is a must visit place if you're into good pub food and atmosphere.

Easy to access from Times Square. I will be honest that I do not give out may 5 stars so a 4 star is really good in my book. We would return and try something new. I had that Salmon and it was cooked perfectly, reasonably priced for the portion, and included sides. Our other Dinner guests tried the Scallop Risotto and the Chicken Cesar Salad - both cleaned their plates. #LocalWithAmy

Stopped in on a fridgid Christmas Eve for some Irish Coffee. The place has a legit Irish pub feel with a lot of dark wood and quaint seating. The Irish Coffee was very good! In addition I had an excellent gin and tonic with Irish Gin. It's conveniently located within walking distance from Times Square. We would certainly return.

After walking around for 4 hours, needed someplace to wet our parched throats and fill our empty stomachs. Found our way to Rosie O'Grady's for a pre-birthday celebration of my 60 years on this earth. We did not have a reservation but the host was able to find us a table in a comfortable location. The place is warm, inviting and smelled great. We had a medium-well Porterhouse steak w/onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes and gravy. Served with an iced cold draft of Blue Moon and an Old Fashion. To say we were happy and fulfilled would be an understatement. Our attendant was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. We will go back again...Soon!

This place has a family friendly section and a pub (we we to the restaurant) I've had Shepherds pie and it was one of the best I've tried. My dear had beef tips and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Chicken parm was good as well. Staff was amazing! (not just out waiter) We are seriously tempted to return back here for dinner, even tho we have very limited vacation time and want to try as much as possible.

My wife and I were staying at the Hilton Club Central at 5th Avenue. We were joined by my brother and sister and we're looking for a good place for dinner. I chose to surprise my wife and walked to 52nd and 7th Avenue (past Broadway) and take her to her favorite restaurant in NYC. Because it was Veterans Day eve, it was more crowded than usual. Nonetheless, our wait was less than 15 minutes. They gave us a table for four and we all had and enjoyable dinner with no complaints! The food was well-prepared and the service was very good. We had French Onion soup and a house salad. We ate the Lemon Sole with rice pilaf and asparagus and the North Atlantic Salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus plus Maryland Crab Cakes with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife, my brother, and my sister were all very pleased as was I. A bit over my budget, but worth it. The Service was excellent.

We didn't have reservations but we were able to get a table top in the bar area immediately. I ordered the Shepard's pie. It was very delicious and a very large serving. My husband got the Norwegian Salmon in butter sauce with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I tasted his salmon and butter sauce it was amazing. We will definitely be back again. This will probably become a regular place for us.
