The food was amazing and there was excellent service. My friends and I got the shrimp in garlic sauce, which came with two sides of your choice, and the grill chicken. The sweet potato fries were AMAZING had to get seconds. I highly recommend this place. The vibe was very intimate and relaxing with great music. As for drinks, the Brazilian Guaraná soda is a must have. The portion sizes are also very reasonable considering the price.

After arriving at Newark Airport around lunchtime, we decided to visit the nearby historic Ironbound District for some Portuguese food. Based on the reviews, we decided to try Sabor Unido and we're really glad we did. The food, service and the warm, friendly, family vibe were all fantastic. We enjoyed grilled sea bass and squid, both of which were excellent and perfectly prepared - as were our sides of mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and fried yucca! Our server, Letitia, was lovely and professional, and we had the chance to chat for a few minutes with the owners, who treated us like "regulars." Just an all around great experience! We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant ASAP!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. My friend wanted Brazilian. I did a Google search and said, "let's go here I have a good felling"😊😋🥰🙂🤗🙃 well kudos to my feelin!! What a great place. Food was phenomenal!! And I love Orlando!!! He saw I need to wipe my glasses and came over with a moist towelette!!! And to think we just had tapas!!! So we are definately making this a go to spot!! And next time we start working through the menu one by one. And thank you Orlando for being so attentive... because we definately like attention. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

This is one of my all time favourite restaurants in the NY/NJ area and anywhere really. Just the best grilled squid with quinoa and not over-cooked collard greens. Super cold Super Bock. A dream come true every time. Occasionally superlative live music. Plenty of seats outside to take in the local sights. More than highly recommended. 👏👏👏

I live in the neighborhood where this restaurant resides and I finally made it on a Friday night for the 1st time after 4 years. Me and my dinner guest sat outside. Perfect weather and a perfect evening. The ambiance is very relaxing. The music is an added bonus to the overall vibe. My steak and onions were cooked perfectly. The sautéed mushrooms are amazing. The mashed potatoes were full of flavor. My guest had the picana but it was a bit overcooked and dry. But the rice and beans and garlic greens were yummy. We also ordered a pitcher of Sangria. Unfortunately it wasn't good which is why my rating is 4* instead of 5. Additionally the service was slow. While everyone was friendly they may have just been overwhelmed as it was no small crowd. I would definitely come back but I will bring my own bottle of wine. I do recommend anyone give them a try.

Got the Rabada (oxtail with yuca) with rice and beans for takeout. Called originally to get a top sirloin but the staff member recommended a few specials including this. This came with a good amount of rice, beans in a soup. Beans had great meaty flavor and tasted amazing! Rabada was very tender and the sauce with it was great! Also the soft yuca was very good as well. Highly recommend.
