Tomahawk Steakhouse Ponteland

Celebrated our Valentines here on Sat 4/2/23 (as it was the only kidfree opportunity this month). We had previously been to the "Newcastle Quayside" location for a brilliant experience. So expectations were high! And I'm very glad to say it was amazing! We were greeted by lovely smiley staff and seated straight away at our choice of multiple tables. Drinks order within a couple of minutes, food order taken on delivery of drinks. The food was excellent. Squid n Korean fish to start, (soz photos missing). Then wagu burgers, fries, onion rings and cheese n brisket hash for sides! !!! This is THE BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD from anywhere in the world !!! The sides were awesome also but the beef stole the show! Must try for yourself!! 5/5

4 of us went here @ponteland the staff are great and the food was lush, the day before I went to a Greene king pub ate lamb shank mash and veg which was not the best for the same price . I got the shawarma chicken board couldn't eat it all and far superior to the Greene king microwave meal I had the day previous

Booked as a surprise for my husband, room absolutely beautiful, food and drink amazing and every member of staff was so polite, friendly and helpful particularly Lena the floor supervisor, the guy behind bar (sorry didn't get name) made the best cocktail, the cleaner was so friendly and the food servers Courtney and Will are a credit to the hotel. Will certainly recommend and will definitely be back soon. Thank you

Had a gorgeous chateaubriand at the tomahawk steakhouse in Ponteland last night. Cooked to perfection!! Joey, Steven and the team were very attentive and looked after us really well. We had a overnight stay also, staying in room 3, Craster. It was clean and tidy with a good level of decor and the bed was lovely and comfortable. We rounded our stay off with a full English breakfast this morning which again was lovely. Overall, a great break, great food and great hosts!! We will be back and would definitely recommend. Well worth the visit. The atmosphere here is really pleasant. The staff very accommodating and happy to help. On seeing the menu it was really hard to choose as there was so many good options. Drinks came quickly shortly later followed by our starters and mains. The food was cooked as requested to medium rare on the steaks. I would gauge around £50 a head for a decent meal but you cab pay less or more depending upon your choices. Overall an excellent place to eat and i will be more than certainly returning for another meal. Everyone in the group agreed this after the evening was over.
