the warm welcome you get when coming in and getting served is amazing Jackie never leaves you waiting and always really friendly, would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to try here go for it you won't regret it,

Well, I would recommend lots of yummy things from the menu. But the thing is that I can't move past the mince and dumplings. It is fab. Mashed tatties, mashed turnip, cabbage, carrots, peas, deluged in loads of succulent mince in gravy, crowned with a lovely fluffy dumpling. Heaven. To top that, it costs £5.25. If you have room, I would highly recommend the jam roly poly with custard at £2.50. The Singin Hinny is one of the best kept secrets on Tyneside.

This cafe is spotlessly clean,bright,homely,cozy,great prices and the great food from a variety of meals and some very cheap puddings,always popular and the reason is because its top grub served by lovely staff and well presented food and last year they had in Shane Lynch from Boyzone with his friends
