Vault 73

Dinner tonight inside this iconic former bank, I was seated in maybe what was the bank manager's office. Potato gnocchi, garlic prawns, vongole, fennel, lemon olive oil Wonderful soft pillowy gnocchi surrounded by a lip smacking garlic oil, succulent prawns and vongole. Such a delicious dish. White chocolate semi-freddo, salted caramel, vanilla ice cream, popcorn I really enjoyed the flavours but despite having a sweettooth, this was just too sweet. Needs a better balance omitting the salted caramel and maybe the addition of a tart compote and/or a light sponge. Lovely ambience, friendly staff, thanks for a lovely evening out @Vault73HunterSt.

Love it here!! Excellent staff, super cool vibe but not at all pretentious. Just nice classy comfort. The food is great and they're really happy to customise whatever I need to run my events. As an event planner I find them so great to work with and as a patron it's just an excellent all round little bar.

Vault 73 made for an excellent night. Had roast lamb (rare) and risotto dairy free. It was excellent. The chefs did a great job getting a rare order right and catering for my dietary requirements. The porter beer they have there was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Also on a side note, there was a bunch of Lego and toys there which kept my 3yr old occupied and let my partner and myself have a nice relaxing night. Will definitely be going back.

Came in to try the sweet patato gnocchi still advertised on the website, but there has been a Chef change, so it was no longer available. We ordered the rib eye steak, medium rare but at least half of it was rare, the accompanied vegetables were undercooked or burnt. Presentation wise, it was definitely not like the photo on the website. The second dish, Chicken Supreme was borderline dry, parts of it burnt, thankfully the sauce made it edible. When the chicken arrived, the mixed leaf & cold salad was soggy and the patato most likely was cooked in a microwave. Definitely can tell there was a Chef change. The only positive was the staff were nice but could be a bit more attentive. No one came to check in on our meals and we had to ask for more wine.
