East End Hub

We found this place a shelter from the rain and cold surf wind. We only ordered coffee and cake but it was very nice compared to what it was like outside. The staff were helpful and our order was promptly delivered to our table. The menu was not large but all the meals coming out of the kitchen looked very inviting. We will return.

Visited East end hub this morning with my wife. I'll preface this by saying the reason we came here was to re-test the bacon and egg roll I had roughly 12 months ago. I came in January 2021 and decided it was the best bacon and egg roll. Since then, I've had my fair share of other bacon and egg rolls, so testing out the number 1 spot was important. We arrived, it was around 8am and fairly quiet. Service was great, ordered coffees straight away and they arrived shortly after. I ordered a bacon and egg roll and my wife had the banana ricotta hotcakes. The roll was great. Was it as good as I remember? Kind of. I'd go as far as saying it's definitely one of the best rolls in newy. Really enjoyed. My wife's hotcakes were also excellent, she was very happy with them and they looked great! Will definitely be back, but first I need to see if there are any rival bacon and egg rolls elsewhere...

One of my favourite places for breakfast or lunch! Great outdoor seating with views of the beach or cosy indoor seating. Staff are excellent and the food is superb. Lovely menu and I've never had anything on it that wasn't completely satisfying. Good ingredients and interesting food. It would be very difficult to choose a favourite but the smoked trout is really outstanding.

When you get delicious food after long drive with tired body what else you need. One of the best breakfast I ever had. Nice and friendly staffs. Travelled to new castle from sydney without any planning and ended up just having breakfast at this place. Made my travel worth it with the delicious food and friendly staffs. Will visit again.
