I ditched Tilly dog for my uncle Wayne again tonight. It's ok she's forgiven me.its a fantastic feed here. Perfect Pork Belly for me and superb steak for uncle. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. The service was absolutely outstanding and the pub itself is bright and spacious on the inside. Very modern but not 'uppity' just a great laid back atmosphere. The lady who served us was so helpful and provided some fabulous banter along the way and really did increase our enjoyment of the evening. Wish I got her name. I will next time as I will be back! Highly recommend the duke for a meal or a relaxing drink after work.

I rang and booked a table for 20 for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised that they were so accommodating and didn't require a deposit. I confirmed numbers 2 days before the night for 16. Everyone was happy with their meals, I forgot to take photos, sorry. The only thing that I would say and is reflected in the rating is that one of my guests sprinkled a tiny bit of salt onto the table to check whether it was salt or pepper and a male staff member saw her do this. He then told her rather curtly that he didn't appreciate what she had done as he was going to have to clean it up ! 😐 Apart from that everyone was happy and I will still go back to The Duke.

We had a table booked, it was a Tuesday night so not even half full but server couldn’t be bothered to show us to the table she just pointed to it. No menus given to us no communication we had to go find the menus. Ordered the bruschetta and garlic bread to share had to go and ask for side plates as the topping fell off as soon as you try to pick it up. Half of our main meals arrived and were going cold as we waited for the rest of the mains to turn up. Would not recommend and won’t be going back, plenty of other options in New Lambton.

Katarina was the best!! Hands down, if it was not for her our night would have been the worst. She could see the issues we were having due to other patrons and was prompt to address our needs, go out of her way to make sure we were happy and was just a pleasure to have around us. Because of her, we will be back. Don't let this one go!

I've been there with small group we arrived ad 1pm so actual lunch time. All of us ordered pretty simple meals and we waited for a whole one hour for our meals to be served even though restaurant wasn't even half full. We didn't enjoy our food except rump steak which was ok and grilled halloumi which was actually really delicious.

I chose to celebrate my birthday there All was going well until I ordered and paid for a takeaway brisket meal it was bought to our table and when I opened it I firstly noticed that sauce I order was not in the box there was 4 small pieces of brisket I went to get sauce from kitchen and showed them the amount of meat I paid over $30 for that meal alone the slaw would of been around $2.50 Disappointing way to be treated The guy looked at me with a blank look as if I was an idiot Our group would of spent over $200 I chose to go there as it normally is good Very disappointed on this occasion
