What a great bakery lots of variety and I am glad to say they have taken over the coffee shop on the corner. I have been there several times and love there coffees, banana bread and custard tarts are to die for in which I am a fan of there well done base. The service at the coffee shop is excellent and very friendly, to all the staff at Papa Al’s keep up the good work.

Yum yum yum turned up nice and early everything was so fresh my order had the moat amazing Apple turnovers, vanilla slice to die for, lemon curd tarts and caramel slices all amazing. I recommend just wish we could order more regularly

Beautiful people, and amazing food. Can't go wrong. Best cheese and bacon sausage roll in Newcastle, but everything is just as good. Give it a go, you will be back for more.

Best milk buns in town, I struggle to find bakeries that have a top shelf bun and am glad to say I have found it. Will definitely come back.

looks very basic from the outside, but the pastries were DELICIOUS, much better priced than in shops aimed at tourists and the counter staff was as nice as could be!

3 day old bread... stale as.... never had fresh bread like that..
