They serve you food that doesn't come as described, for example I ordered two noodle dishes and only got veggies. The food is very oily and I ended up very sick after eating it. The staff were very awesome though.

Solid quality takeway style Australian Chinese. Cheap lunch specials are good and delivery is available. Would be good if you could pay for delivery to Fern Bay if ordering less than $40 as it's one of the few places that deliver there.

Not knowing Newcastle we ordered from Chu Mamas for home delivery .When the food arrived hot and punctual we discovered the friendly young man had come over on the Ferry from Stockton .We were very apologetic but were told it was no problem Amazing sevice and the food was delicious. Thank you .

Disappointed!!
Just picked up my order or stir fri BBQ pork and I got it home and opened it up to find and long black hair😡
The service was a young girl and she didn’t look at me once when I picked it up.
She also had attitude towards me and the other staff.
Will not be going back.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Nice service, homemade spring rolls etc (best I have had for a while)...
Even make their own prawn cutlets, good selection menu plus you can bring your own wine and no corkage..That's great ..Now I go there at least twice a week...I simply catch the bus now as it stops right near the restaurant & same coming back..However I do not do takeaways as its not the same as dining there plus its a day out and I can relax with a bottle of wine and take my time...Sad that they don't serve icecream or cream with Banana Fritters, as mostly all restaurants do..
Usual cost for me with an entree $19 to $22

This place was a let down. The fried rice was boiled rice with vege. My other dishes only half filled the containers. It took more than an hour to recieve the order. Will not order from here again.

Im a regular customer and last two meals have been delivered late... taking over one hour to recieve meals and to make it worse wasnt what we payed for... asked for extras and payed for them but did not recieve...
Have tried to support this local business but this is the last chance!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
