The Optimist

Managed to get a table big enough to accommodate a party of 8 people. Ordered via the app but waited more than 20 mins for our drinks as the order had gone to the kitchen only but had not been picked up by the bar so I had to chase this up. However there was no additional delay to food. We were sat away from main bar area but there was music and a good vibe to the place. (Originally thought it was live music from where we we sat but have been corrected lol). Hearty food and good kids selection too.

Took my second eldest daughter to have a nice meal out. The bar staff that served us was lovely and chatty which I love. The place is quiet and peaceful that you feel relaxed and can hear eachother talking. The food is amazing and fresh it's a shame my daughter had to leave her chips I love them but she doesn't like chips anywhere. We did ask no chips for my daughters order and the kitchen staff still added to her order it's just a waste of food and money for the company. Salads need to be better quality otherwise fantastic time we both had.
