A lot of history at this course. Clubhouse and views are great. Course conditions were great. The course is a little short but you are really paying for the history and experience. Only issues were the flies because of being close to the water. They were so bad you couldn't even putt without getting bit.

Atlantic City Country Club is steeped in history that most Country Clubs are missing! The Country Club has a new Chef a pleasant surprise last night meeting Chef Dominic who is well known down the shore Atlantic City CC is very lucky to have him as well as his new serving staff. We had an outstanding dinner. Look forward to many more this year!

It was a great day for the bride and groom. The food was good. The staff was exceptional. Just the establishment seems a bit dated. For a country club to walk into the men’s room it’s like stepping back into the 80s. I had to go all the way to the men’s locker to use the bathroom. For the men’s bathroom close to the function were only three stalls. The locker has more.

Atlantic City Country Club is hands down the best public access golf course in the area. From tee to green, the course was in awesome shape. There’s isn’t a bad hole out there and every single hole is a challenge. As you can see from some of the pics, the wind can make it even tougher. Staff here is also top notch. Highly recommend everything about this place!

Am I dreaming? Did I just play the most expensive public course in the region? It feels like you walk through the country club in “Caddy Shack” then you find out this is where the terms “Birdie” and “Eagle” came from, but good luck getting one of them on this course! Winds come from every direction and are strong and gusty, like being on the beach. Bring the bug spray and your wallet, but surprisingly good deals (after the humongous entry fee) and creative, delicious food takes the sting out of the biting flies and the high score. Loved the views. Loved the hard golf. Loved the food. Loved the history. Loved the way I was treated. The golf: it’s like a mix of everything. I could have sworn I saw Bermuda grass...then one bunker is like hitting out of a white sand beach and the other one is like hitting out of an aquarium. Accuracy is key and they say 6,500 from the tips is short (I always play from the blues because I’m an idiot-the members play from the whites or mids) and length doesn’t come into play as much, but it sure does and it helps to be long on some of those holes into the wind. Not a good place to play if you got the shanks.
