Excellent and interesting venue. Lots to see and do. New renovations to visitor centre and Castle exhibitions have been a super improvement and enables experiences for all ages to enjoy.

First time visiting in 10 years and it seems much improved. Really nice grounds to walk around. Inside is a permanent history exhibition, art exhibition and a temporary exhibition. Downstairs there is a medieval experience with some interactive games mostly aimed at kids. Overall a great half day out, longer if the weather is good and you stay to enjoy the grounds. Great views over Nottingham and to the South as well. At weekends and bank holidays you can also visit the cottages below the rock which have been restored, and walk around the cave at the back which is surprisingly large (as big as 2 houses itself). There is also a paid cave tour which we have not done for £5 more.

Ticket is £12 for one time/ yearly. If you are living in nottingham it is worth to spend £12 yearly. Good place for kids. Nice idea to present history by games and technology. Edit review This time we walked to cave of castle by spending extra £5. If you're interested with stories of history then it is worth it. Otherwise it's just small cave walk.

We had a wonderful time exploring Nottingham Castle. The park, castle, and museum were all lovely and provided a great educational experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, which made our visit even better. The view from the top of the castle was undoubtedly the best view of the city!

Visited Nottingham Castle and had a great experience overall! The historical significance and beautiful views make it a must-visit. However, some areas were under renovation during my visit, which slightly impacted the experience. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it for history buffs and those seeking a glimpse into Nottingham's past.

Very interesting experience. Past mixed with new technologies. The place is huge, 3 floors, a lot of history, amazing views, interesting interactions like shouting from a bow and dressing up as peasants :)))) worth visiting. It took us 45 Minutes, but we were in a hurry. I think it may be a 2 hrs attraction. They have a little coffee inside and a souvenir shop. History lessons are done by interactive people on the screen. You can also watch cartoons about certain events around the castle.

Excellent museum and castle to visit. Well priced at £12 per adult and free for children. Take a picnic - there are lots of grounds to sit in with lots of benches and seats.

Where did the castle go? Costs £5 to find out, but, a good day, great sights and great value. They certainly haven't robbed from the poor and gave to the rich here.
