Plazuelas Mexican Restaurant

Just go here for the dinner already! But please be prepared to wait as they are usually pretty busy. We had amazing service here and they also suggested vegetarian options for us as we are vegetarian. Margarita was on point and enchilada were amazing! All tasted very fresh and authentic including complementary chips and salsa. I loved this place and I will be visiting here again whenever I come back to Yosemite National park.

Traditional Mexican food in Oakhurst. This place serves authentic Mexican food. We initially were put on waiting list as the restaurant is extremely busy, however we got the table after 5 mins of waiting. Since we are vegetarians, the server recommended Huarache and salsa verde enchiladas and we decided to try both along with lemonade and margarita. Huarache was a unique dish, loved the flavors, tasted amazing. I have never had an enchilada with green sauce before so was a bit skeptical about salsa verde but I was blown away by the taste and flavors of the enchiladas, simply amazing. We felt that the Lemonade was freshly made and margarita was great. The staff is welcoming and extremely friendly. Last but not the least the salsa given along side chips had a unique taste, I would surely come again to visit this place, a must try.

Wow! The food here is delicious and service is wonderful. I had chicken tacos and a lime margarita. Everything tasted so fresh and the margarita was perfectly balanced. We were traveling out of Yosemite and it was the perfect way to end a great trip. This will be my regular stop on the way in or out of the valley.

Sub par food and service. Burrito was $18 and had just a trace of the guac and queso that was and additional charge and it was stuffed with mostly beans and other filler ingredients. Tasted no different than a $9.00 Moe's burrito. Quesadillas were average but overpriced as well. Even though the chips and salsa were "complimentary" they failed to inform us until AFTER we got the bill that they charge for salsa refills after the second request even though the cups were very tiny. Never had that happen before. They also charged for an iced tea refill after the second request. They should inform their customers upfront about these charges since it is not standard to charge for either. So do not recommend and will not return.

AMAZING....So we are from Southeast Texas and get authentic Mexican food all the time so when we go to another state it always makes me nervous. I had the chicken quesadillas and my husband had Carne Asada tacos both were delicious and full of meat and cheese. Everything was juicy and had perfect seasoning. We got churros for dessert and they were just as delicious and i was shocked at how beautiful the the plating was. My husband only drinks bud light beer and they didnt have thay here. The waiter let him same a couple beers to see if he would like any of them we never had that happen at home. If we are ever back in California we will definitely stop here again.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. We ordered nachos, enchiladas, and mole—all good. Margaritas were also very well done. A pretty good beer list to boot. The complimentary chips and salsa were great, you really gotta hold yourself back from eating too many and ruining your main course! Service was very attentive and kind. Loved the outdoor tent seating. Quite pleased with this experience and would gladly recommend!

We had lunch here on our way to Yosemite. The food and service was great. Later that night, I realized I had left my purse hanging on the chair. When I called, Caesar confirmed that they had it and would keep it safe until I could return to pick it up. Which they did! Thank you Plazuelas, and we will see you again next summer🏞🏞🏞🌮🌮🌮🏞🏞🏞
