Dicicco's Italian Restaurant

Got takeouts from this restaurant when my boyfriend and I were visiting Yosemite last weekend. Food and service were amazing! Highly recommended!! We ordered 3 items: 1. Ribeye Steak (medium), which we were skeptical about because it’s takeout, but it was fabulous! The meat was juicy, the grill was very on point! However, the alfredo fettuccini was a bit too greasy, but it pairs well with their bread! 2. Frutti Di Mare (seafood pasta) has fresh seafood and very flavorful! Portion was generous! 3. Fried Calamari, which was crunchy outside and soft inside, even though it looked weird, it tasted great! I would rate their service 5 stars even though there were hiccups. We tried to call in to order, but they shoot me to voice mailbox every time, maybe they were really busy during dinner hours. So, make sure you call multiple times, you might catch them if you are lucky. We ended up ordering takeouts in the restaurant and got our food in 15 mins. When we went in to pick up our food, before we said our name, our server already knew who we were and handed over the food promptly with a big smile! For this service I would 100% go back to this restaurant again!

The portions are huge and perfect after a long days hike in Yosemite. The starter bread was nice and soft and the Michelle’s pasta was terrific. The chicken had a nice edge crisp to it and was juicy and the overall flavor of this dish was 👌🏼. However, the Scarface pasta was meh. Tasted too oily and the chicken was bland

None of the staff members were wearing masks. Most of them were teenagers so unsure if they were vaccinated or not. Felt rushed by the waiter the whole time. The floor was filled with trash as we walked to our table. The weather was perfect outside and they have a great space for outdoor dining but they were only offering indoor dining. None of the food we inquired about was actually homemade. The food we ate was okay. This is a picture of the "sign" that shows their updated hours which differ from the hours they have on the window in a permanent decal. Quite disappointing experience for a nice date night at one of the only Italian restaurants.

My wife and I stopped by on the way out from Yosemite and really enjoyed this place! I got the Chicken Picata and she the Popperino (can't remember the exact name but basically the fettuccine alfredo) and both were quite good! Our waitress Andrea was courteous and took good care of us, we'll definitely stop by next time we're near Yosemite.
