The Crimson Cake

Absolutely beautiful 💙🦋 I was looking for a bakery at last minute for my sister birthday, and gladly I find this little cute place. The owner was a very sweet young lady who helped me to choose the right cake for my sister. She took a fresh baked cake out and decorate the whole thing right in front of my eyes in 5 minutes. I’m amazed about how creative this lady is. Very beautiful cake and make fresh to order is something I appreciate. Will definitely go back and recommend for sure 🎂🧁🍰

So happy with how everything turned out. We had to keep it in a iced cooler for a couple hours and it held up extremely well! Not only did it look amazing the flavor was just as good. We had the berries and cream, it was VERY moist and flavorful. I would take the drive again just to pick up another cake for my family!

Alicia was so patient and wonderful! We got stuck in traffic and she ended up waiting 25 minutes for us to arrive. Ordering and payment process was smooth and easy! Update: OMG the cake is absolutely beautiful!! We didn't want to cut into it it was the prettiest cake we've ever seen!! We ordered red velvet and it was sooo delicious 🤤😍

Was so excited about trying this bakery’s cakes, but was very disappointed. First Of all the cupcake flavors for the dozen which cost $24.00 where not the best and I wanted to try different flavors so I could order a cake. They only had vanilla, churro, chocolate and confetti ( which had absolutely no flavor at all). They were mini and they had a lump of frosting on top. I did not like any of them. The chocolate was ok but the rest were forgettable. The owner was not friendly and did not provide any information about the rest of the flavors or even ask if I was interested in trying anything else. There are a lot of other places in Carlsbad and Vista that have a store front with plenty of flavors to offer and the people who work there are nice. Thanks for your response: It is not about the sweetness, it’s about FLAVOR. I love buttercream and I do not like cake to be too sweet. I’d rather go to Pure cakes or Sylvia’s cakes which are much better flavors, variety and excellent customer service.

This woman is AMAZING! She made the most beautiful and delicious cake and cup cakes for a babyshower. In fact, we ended up having more people then expected at the shower so we picked up some more cupcakes at a local bakery (in Palmdale, CA) that was known for being featured on Cake Wars (food network) and winning...and everyone loved the cupcakes from The Crimson Cake a lot more!!! That just shows how delicious it was. We got the chocolate mousse, confetti and strawberry short cake. Her frosting was light and sweet and like nothing I’ve ever had before. I will be back for sure!
