Aoyama Ramen

Oh my… so good. It’s small, and there could be a wait but it’s worth whatever that wait maybe. The food is delicious the staff is really nice. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and got a taste for Ramen. Reminded me of the ones I went to when in South Korea. Don’t think about it, just stop by. Oh and parking can be a pain.

Lived in CA and traveled regularly to Japan on business. I know great ramen. Aoyama clearly has their ramen game on. Amazing Tonkotsku broth, perfect noodles, dashi, and just the right toppings. Tastes just like what I had in Yokohama, Japan. Their curry chicken is spot on with with the goodness you get in Japan too. I go here regularly now. Highly highly recommend! Just don't make it too popular though and make me wait for my delicious ramen. 😉

Been here more than 10 times. It is surprise to me that they didn’t increase the price amid pandemic when everything else skyrocketed. Last time I was there I tried their rice bowl instead of ramen for the first time. I ordered the curry don which was surprisingly delicious! But the portion is a bit small tho for $11 ish. Still very good and highly recommend.

I went to Aoyama ramen with my friend last night, 11/27/21, and ordered curry ramen, karaage chicken, and shio ramen. Both ramens are too diluted for my taste and unlike the ones I had in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, Japan. At the same time, the karaage chicken was too salty but slightly better than both the ramen. Last night’s gustatory experience was disappointing.

This place is an express train that serves ramen on a quick dime. This was our first time coming here and even though we weren't greeted coming through the door, we were still given prompt service in ordering, refills, and being served our food in all of 15 minutes. The tempura was surprisingly delicious and the takoyaki was the greatest I've had. The ramen is definitely one of my top favorites and all at a reasonable price. Aoyama is now one of my favorite ramen shops when venturing to the Kansas City area and greatly recommend everyone to try it. Definitely gives others a run for their money in regards to good food and prompt service.

I think this place has decent prices with good amounts. All my friends got full form their bowls. The staff is awesome, I've come here twice so far and the staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. They all work as a team. The appetizers are decently priced. They can give you more chili paste if you need more heat in your ramen too, which is great. Overall a pleasant experience with friends and family and had some good laughs with the staff.
