Wild Frontier Bbq

I do not think this place was reflective of the reviews. The fries were good and homemade, and the ribs were above average. Everything else was lacking. The staff was nice, but had no knowledge of the food or BBQ in general. All of the food was luke warm at best. The burnt ends were bad, they were cubed meat (unlikely point meat), and very dry. The brisket was tender, but also bone dry. The coleslaw was probably out of a tub, it had a decent flavor, but was apparently old as it tasted wilted and soggy. The beans had no flavor. I was not crazy about the sauce, it was mediocre at best.

Family owned and operated great food excellent service food was amazing fair pricing the owner of the company actually came out to talk to me and asked me if I had any issues with the food. you don't get too many Americans and actually care about their work anymore these people do and they're hard-working Americans so come on in and show tgem the respect they deserve. Truck parking across the street also truck stop showers easy to find. Brisket is very good, good smoke taste but not over powering. Ribs were great just the right amount of rub. Great taste and just the right amount of smoke. Best BBQ I've had in the state of Kansas.

Wish i could leave no stars"""" this place looks very nice inside but when you walk in there is no smoke smell. ordered two meat combo the beef brisket was very dry and fell apart. It's over cooked and has no smoke flavor. the sausage has a strange flavor. the beans just ok but has a raw onion flavor. the coleslaw is store bought and has pasted it date. sauce is ketchup base with no flavor the hot sauce is just hot ketchup. very dead food. if they don't change the way they cook food this place won't last 3 months. very sad food. also should of know there was no one in this place at 12:30 on a Tuesday. WILL NOT BE BACK EVER GOOD LUCK

Grabbed two meals to go. Meat had good flavor, could taste the smoke. Sides were better than average. Price was reasonable for BBQ of that quality. Staff were super friendly and eager too please, but seemed to be still trying to figure things out which is common for a new non-chain restaurant. Wait was not excessive. Will definitely go back.

Not fully open yet, but still good. Good fries, good atmosphere, and good prices. Limited menu right now but will expand come July. Burnt ends are good, but a little too burnt. Sauce is really good and the hot sauce is labeled. Family run and owned which is a plus for me. Cant wait for them to fully open.
