Railcar Modern American Kitchen

Went there for our 20th anniversary for dinner and it did not disappoint. We had the crab cakes and Brussels sprouts for a starter and they were excellent. The french onion soup and shrimp/crab bisque were very good as well. Our main entrees of Shrimp Diablo and the I believe Kona Steak were on point. We have been there for the brunch, mimosas and bloodies before and really liked the laid back atmosphere. Shout out to Jake our server he was exceptional and very attentive to our table. He made the experience absolutely awesome for my wife and I. The drinks were also delicious. The Forrester Old Fashion and the rye sour were great. The dessert beignet thing was the best dessert that I have had for awhile.

The food was expensive and not enough to fill me up. The alcohol- bloody mary was extremely spicy. Kids' chicken strip were good and enough to fill up the kids. The prime rib sandwich meat tasted boiled. And My food- The Pile was basically what I could make at home for 1/2 price. Nothing special. Our waiter was fantastic. The dessert was amazing

My husband and I tried Railcar for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint! We started with cocktails- he had the Nebraska Sky ans I had the White Peach Spritz. Both were divine! Then, we had the cheesecurds for an app and he had the schnitzel chicken and I had the chicken and proscuitto. Both were delicious. For dessert we indulged in the cronut sundae which was very unique and so yummy! Jake was our server and he was an absolutle delight- incredibly friendly and kind. We cannot wait to dine here again!

When I am visiting Omaha, I always try and go to the Railcar. Thr food options are great, and the brunch is by far my favorite offering. In regards to food, I highly recommend the French onion soup. Don't let the outside, "strip mall," appearance fool you on the outside. You will find some of the best food options that Omaha offers on the inside. Plus, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide exceptional, timely service. A+

Our experience here was stellar! Their service is really good, and the food is delicious. The menu has some really unique options, and some "simpler" ones like a burger (with amazing toppings), ribs, and tacos, all of which my family got. All of it was amazing. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but that's expected with the quality of the food. Gluten free buns are an option, and they have their gluten free items marked on the menu. Cool traincar-oriented atmosphere, too. Just eat here, you'll love it!

We had an amazing dinner experience at Railcar!! We have had their brunch several times and this time my husband and I decided to try it out for dinner. I called ahead of time and they were able to give me an adequate wait time. Once we arrived they promptly seated us. We asked if they had espresso martinis, and while they aren’t listed on the menu our waitress kindly offered to make them for us! Talk about going above and beyond! They were delicious! Definitely one of the best in all of Omaha! My husband got the prime rib and I got the salmon. WOW -the flavor in the salmon was incredible!! The prime rib was cooked to perfection and quite a large portion. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. When we left another gentleman thanked us by name after only mentioning our name once to the waitress. It was lovely to go to a place that provides such excellent customer service. Again, fabulous experience! We will be back!
