Burger Theory Omaha

Went twice in two days. The first experience was great and the female staff at the bar was very inviting and provided great service. This is what made us come back a second time. However during the second visit the male bar staff member was very short and curt with his replies. There were only two people in the entire place but we had to wait to be seated. Our order was taken rapid fire and the check was brought before we were even halfway through our meal. The male staff member seemed to be rushing us out even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. He had sent the female staff member to go make copies and then a table of 11 came in. When she returned he made a comment in front of all the patrons that "of course you're not here when we get busy." The female staff just smiled and asked if she could help. Even in light of that the food was amazing and we would order again but probably for take out.

We stopped in here while at the College World Series. I usually do not rate places that have zero vegan options on the menu, but our waitress not only checked to confirm their veggie patty wasn't vegan but then offered to make an amazing off-menu salad, which I very much appreciated. Wish I could remember her name. The food stars are simply because of the zero-option issue. It's 2023, people - people are concerned about their health and ethics. Please start carrying the vegan Morningstar Farm patties instead of just the veggie ones. Same price point, and then everyone can eat them. 👍🏻

Ok, we came here without reading the reviews first because we were starving and it was a close walk from our hotel. We were greeted quickly and told to sit wherever we liked. There was a variety of seating options, hi- tops, booths, tables, long bar type tables (with cool live edge tops) or the bar so really comfortable. Our server, Mindy, greeted us quickly, got our drink order, and was back quickly to get our order. At this point I started reading reviews and got nervous. I was reading them to my hubby when...... the food came out. No lie, maybe 15 minutes. The food was DELICIOUS! The Parmesan Panko onion rings were the best I’ve ever had. The grilled veggies..... oh my.... so good! Veggies on my burger were so fresh. My husband said his burger was just as good. Prices were pretty good considering the quality of the food. Our waters were refilled several times and each time I new lemon. I talked to Mindy about the reviews on google and she was aware of the low ratings. She said that they have had a lot of staff turnover, including management, but they are on an upswing now. Being part of the Holiday Inn is sometimes a challenge, because even though the restaurant may be empty, they are getting slammed on room service or catered orders. Mindy said they were working on it. Give this place a shot, the food is awesome, and Mindy is great!
