Village Inn

My family always stops at the Village Inn for get togethers anytime they're in town. They've got a big party room in the back and the hosts have no trouble quickly pushing tables together getting extra chairs to accommodate seating. For me this is the best village in in Omaha. Great service and quick kind courteous wait staff. The food is always great as well.

The food wasn't as good as usual. Hash browns where old like they been laying on the burner awhile. But our server Jerome was great he presented the menu with knowledge and was polite attentive and just brought out what a professional server is about I'm his own style. Delivered the 5 points of service above and beyond. Management material. So the 5 stars goes to him . 4 to food quality

Excellent service throughout. Every one was willing to help. Didn't get my servers name but she was terrific. Ate around 12pm at a blue table. 2 sisters with mom in a red coat. Want to to also say thanks to the other waitress that got us more coffee when we forgot to ask our waitress for more. And she smiled and obliged. Thanks so much. We will be back.

The server I had was named Jackie and she was amazing. Not only was she very attentive, I watched her literally cut up someone else's food for them because they had just had surgery on their broken wrist. Now that's going above and beyond your job description. The food was good too, but Jackie needs some recognition!

Had a fantastic dinner. Service was great, food was better than the other village inn I had been to. Plenty of parking. The lemon artichoke chicken was a surprise pick that exceeded my expectations. Biscuit was moist and soft. They are well known for their pie. Pro tip: go Wednesday. You get a free slice of pie with a purchase of an entree.

Our service was outstanding! Jessica paid great attention to detail, taking orders and quickly bringing back food and hot coffee to 25+ American Legion Riders, Post 1, Omaha Nebraska! As more ALR came in she promptly took their drink and menu requests, not missing a step between new and old customers. The food was excellent! Large, hot portions neatly arranged on plates all around the room, definitely a great start to the weekend!

The food was really good, the place was clean and our waitress was great. We didn't have to sit and wait our drink order was taken within the first minute after the hostess sat us. The place was fairly busy but our waitress was friendly, made sure we always had everything we needed but didn't hover. There aren't a lot like her these days. The only thing I didn't like was the tables were to close together. Our table stuck out a little in the aisle and I felt in the way. My husband was on the inside and felt trapped. However, we will go back! Oh, try the Lemon Supreme pie. It comes directly from Heaven.

Great place for eggs and toast. Waiter was well spoken and attentive. The atmosphere was awesome and it was pretty crowded showing the locals really liked it. We were from out of town, but I could see being a regular here. My friend wasn't real impressed with the sausage patty. I'm not a big sausage guy, so I didn't know the difference. Real nice place!
