Winchester Bar & Grill

I’ve been wanting to get over to the Winchester for a while and found the opportunity today. Food was good and fast. Looks like a dive but only in the best ways possible. Hot beef sandwich was good and the addition of some veggies in the gravy was nice. Son got the burger special and really can’t beat that price for a really decent burger.

Have not been here in years. Food was hot and service was great. Will definitely put this place on my list of places to go back too. Had the chicken fried steak and mash potatoes and corn. Kinda has a 70s kinda feel pool table and other stuff. Must have live music because of the stage. Parking was fine easy to get in and out of. We went around 1130 by 12 it was filling up.

Good greasy bar food. Clean, but a bit outdated atmosphere...to be expected and not a problem. Did a good job of separating the bar from the busy volleyball area, but parking was very limited. Got the patty melt and loved it with the curly fries. A bit surprised that the fries were a $5 upcharge when I checked my receipt, seems like a bit much for just fries and I thought the menu listed it at $3.49, but didn't look hard at the receipt this until after I left.

Went with a big group of people. Service was pretty good considering (they added the gratuity to the check bc of the size of our group). My order seemed to take exrra long, and i had to wait for my order. But the server was extremely nice. The cheeseburger special was awesome (shared with the wife). The chicken sandwich was good, but I thought the chicken could have been a bit bigger (it didn't fill the whole bun). The atmosphere was nice. They have pool, darts and sports on big screen tvs. Didn't even know this place existed.
