Old Town Pizza

The dining room was pretty empty the day we went, it seems that most of the business is take-out. We got a medium Stanley Supreme and it came loaded with meats, so no complaints about quantity or quality of toppings. The pizza was good, but not exceptional. They bill themselves as "thin crust" but really it's a cracker-like crust, not what I normally expect for traditional thin crust. Service was good the day we went, but as I said the place was pretty empty. Ambiance was somewhat lacking, with plain laminate tables and 3 tvs on display. It looks like a good place to go with kids. They have a kids menu, and they sell beer, and prices are pretty reasonable. My only complaint was the "hot wings" didn't taste like they had been anywhere near any kind of hot sauce, though they were juicy, flavorful and well cooked. Might eat there again, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Pizza is usually good, but last time it took 45 minutes to get the pizza's and the top was toast. Another time, they gave me the wrong pizza's after waiting almost an hour from the time I ordered, they offered to replace, but I did not have the time. Only one oven running and no one is eating there at the tables....Not sure what there issues are, I guess just poor management.

Not Happy! Been a customer for 6 years and order a pizza by phone. Told me it would be 25 minuets. Showed up on time and gave my name and was ready to pay. The young man went to check and came back and didn’t say anything. I decide to sit down assuming the pizza wasn’t ready. I waited 5 minutes and then he called me up and ask if I wanted something to drink. I asked about the pizza and he told me it’s going be another 15 minuets. So I asked him if they didn’t put the order in and he then admitted they forgot. I so mad I walked out because they didn’t want or know or how to admit they screwed up. Mistakes are made, but this is just poor training on managements part.

Service was horrible. Our pizza came out before our appetizer or cutlery. We had to wait a long time for our drinks. Our server blamed being slammed but there were 2 servers and 3 tables occupied when we came in. Food was ok to good (had the low carb pizza crust which was not bad surprisingly). Place was clean but kind of old and worn feeling. There are far better places to spend your hard earned dollar.

I absolutely hate leaving this review but tonight was the last time we will eat at Old Town Pizza. The service has just gotten so bad, it is as if they do not care. Tonight we had to ask for menus, plates, silverware, refills, a box, and the check, but when I left a (generous) 15% tip it was talked about by the two servers. You earn a tip. The worse part of the the evening was that there was a total of three tables in the place. No excuses. The owner was also there. It it a shame because the piazz is good.
