Ole & Steen Oxford Westgate

Came here for a coffee and sandwich with my mother after a trip to John Lewis. Francesca, our server was formidable. It really makes such a difference to have such attentive and joyful people looking after you for something as simple as a coffee. The food & drinks matched the excellent service. Undoubtably looking forward to becoming a regular customer. Thank you Francesca and the rest of the team at Ole & Steen!

Oh the staff at Oxford Ole and Steen are just so personable. They are there to provide you with a top service. The food is delicious. I tried the vegan truffle toasties... yummy and a very good de caf coffee. This will become my go to coffee and sandwich place!! I heard their pastries are just the best with regards to taste and quality. I have my eye on one of their marshmallow pyramids.

Visited Ole & Steen for breakfast, and it was brilliant. It's a Danish bakery and serves a multitude of baked goods along with sandwiches, toasties, and hot drinks. I went for a tuna melt toastie and sausage roll, both of which were great. The sausage roll was special as it had an additional filling of caramelised onions, which I've not tried before, which added an amazing taste to the roll. There was plenty of seating split over 2 floors. In line with cafe culture, there is no table service, so you self-serve. The pricing was very good. Highly recommended!

I didn't know there was one outside of London, but wow! Just as amazing as the one I did visit in the capital! The chocolate swirl was outstanding! A rich & very sweet hit of chocolate along with a surprising shortbread type base is just the bomb. Glad I spotted this as I walked the streets & still had enough treats in the afternoon the lure me in. Great place & will always visit when I see one!
