These steaks are definitely better than what you get at Kroger or Walmart. The prices reflects that as well. We spend about 14 dollars on 8-10 oz filets at Kroger. You’re spending around 27-30 on a 8-10oz steak here. Rough estimate. Definitely expect to pay a premium, but it is good.

Bought two bone in rib-eyes. Followed the direction of manager. Unwrapped steaks and put in fridge for 4 days. Made on cast iron skillet with olive oil. Then in preheated oven. OUTSTANDING!!!! Tender perfect steaks only way to make the perfect steak. Will buy again .

The people that run this place are so nice and they. know. food. They always have unique and fresh meats that are incredible and not too expensive. It’s in a convenient location and it’s such a cool historic piece of oxford.

Great selection for small town butcher. Meat market has a huge selection of beef, chicken, pork, and fish. Aged products are top notch. Value rack is awesome for college students.

While the storefront is unassuming, Oxford is lucky to have a butcher shop like LB's. From incredible sausages to the best dry aged steaks, LB's is the best place for meat in town. If you have special orders, they will be happy to help. LB's has ruined us for steak - we no longer eat steak in restaurants, and wouldn't think of buying steak anywhere else.

Excellent! This was my first time in LB's.Immediately upon entering the store I was greeted by a very friendly,knowledgable & helpful lady butcher.I needed two steaks.I came out with ribeyes that were well over a pound a piece and an inch and a half thick.They were beyond description delicious! Stop on in,you wil be glad you did! I will be going back! I GOTTA try thier homemade bacon wrapped stuffed jalepeno peppers!! Great job you guys!
