Red Lobster

Just left the restaurant...the Lady at the entrance was not friendly at all...didn't greet us, just looked at us and said "for 2" and took us to the table.Now, our waiter Chris a total different story...great guy, excellent customer service skills and so friendly. It was a pleasure getting served by him and hopefully we will see him again! Great food, too...we loved it! The German lady and her husband

I met a friend for lunch to catch up, and our waitress talked to us forever about her personal life. Finally she took our order. It was exhausting. Then after our meal, she explained how she was in competition for good reviews so LEAVE me a good review please. SO, My friend paid with a gift card and there was $2 left. She kept on explaining how she should just give her that balance to add to her tip. Again, exhausting. Food was great. But I will never have that waitress again.

We were rushed by waitress, she demanded that we give her some plates from our table, as to which we then requested a box to take our food home. With this being said, we did arrive late, 8:30 p.m. We know they close at 9:00 p.m. It would have been much more sincere of them to simply refuse service because of the time. We spent 65.00 on the meal, and for some reason I left a 10.00 tip. It would be nice to receive some type of reimbursement.

Four and a half stars!! First, let me apologize for forgetting to take pics before we began eating!! The food was very good; but please allow me to make a couple of comments based on mostly personal preference. The Cole slaw and the honey mustard were too heavy handed with the vinegar. I don't care for any but can tolerate some. I could not eat either with such heavy concentration of the vinegar. The chicken tenders were very tasty and the cheese biscuits were divine! My husband had the grilled chicken salad and it was good even though the greens were much too bulky and hard. There were lettuce cores in the salad. The sweet tea was a bit on the weak side but the coffee was very good. The salad was much prettier before being drowned in Ranch dressing as was the baked potato before being stirred to pieces 😁. The presentation of the food was excellent! Our server, Rose was extremely good; very professional! She was friendly but not intrusive, helpful and attentive with a sweet attitude. The dining room is really outdated and tired. It was a bit too dark and the music too loud. Music should never drown out conversation and this was not quite that bad but needs to be lowered. That said, the whole place, including the restrooms was very clean and neat. We were there in mid-afternoon so there were not many customers. Our food was brought to us quickly and was hot and fresh. Over all, it was a very nice experience and we will certainly stop back by next time we are in the area! This was the Anniston, Alabama location.
