Frankies Cafe

Not impressed at all. From the time we arrived till we left it was a complete let down Had to call the waiter over and ask to order, then waited over 15min for a hot coffee and a iced coffee Whilst waiting for our drinks we were approached by 4 separate staff with food and drink that we did not order A small coffee was given to me only to be taken away and replaced with large mug (I ordered a small latte) I returned it and asked for my order again, 3rd time lucky and I got the correct coffee Meals arrived after waiting over 40min I x bacon Benny and 1x burrito We had no cutlery and had to asked as our meals were just put down and the staff member walked off My entire meal was stone cold, did not bother sending it back as I was starving Eggs were hard poached and bacon was rock hard No one quality checked us, or offered second drinks or even cleared our dishes once we were done Has to ask for water as well as this was not offered Went to pay but our order was not in the system, so we had to repeat it to what seemed to be a staff member who was in training and was very flustered. No one asked how our meals were or nor we we given an apology or explanation for the lengthy wait Clearly there was a breakdown in communication or a technical malfunction but common courtesy to keep your guests well informed would have been appreciated.

Fairly average price for the meal size served, Food was quite impressive, best pakenham cafe for food hands down. Although the restaurant was extremely loud, there was an undeniable amazing family vibe to the cafe. The young man who served us was lovely and definitely made up for the disappointing service we received from the other lady we got served by, basically threw our cutlery at us and made us feel like nuisances to be serving which was quite disappointing. Would definitely recommend for a weekend breakfast option!!

I enjoyed my breakfast wrap, my partner had the deep fried chicken burger he wasn't as impressed. Its a nice little set up, we enjoyed our time here. The place was clean, and we were welcomed warmly. The staff were a little bit dopey on the day, but still kind. My parents had the bacon and eggs in Turkish bread, which they enjoyed.
