Wow what a disappointment. The owner chef and menu have changed and I will say it is not for the better. First of all let me make it very clear that the waitresses were brilliant. Thank you ladies. So now the new menu shows you Pick your meat and sauce then it is extra for everything else. $12.50 for a small spud cut in half 3 pieces of under cooked sweet potato/ pumpkin and 4 stalks asparagus (apparently that is the seasonal veg) does not impress me at all. The last time I ordered my steak medium is still had pink. Tonight it came out grey. The $12 mac and cheese was flavorless and only had a peppery kick to it. I think the only cheese it had was the slice melted on top of it. And when you order a bowl Of chips and the chef separates it over 2 baskets when that wasn't what we ordered.. And to make a complaint to the guy at the register and to be told "well we are going through changes with kitchen staff at the moment" . Not even a thought of compensating/ discounting the meal we had leaves a bad taste in your mouth from his lack of interest and from the excuse of a poor meal you just ate..

*Update* 10.03.19 Recently went here didn't know the chef, menu and staff have all changed. If you order a steak you have to pay for anything extra so it no longer comes as a meal, I ordered a t bone steak medium and it came out rare, and very pink next to the bone, the wait staff are all very friendly but won't be going back here, quality has gone down and is not worth the money, shame. *** This place was amazing, the steak was perfection, the Parma was really tasty, one of the best we've tried. We also shared a white chocolate mousse dessert which was sooo good. Really great restaurant doesn't deserve 3.5* rating as it should be 5. Wait time wasn't bad and all the waiters were great. A little expensive but well worth the money 🤑

Sensational! Last minute decision to go but it really paid off. 3 main meals, Parma and Chips, Salt and Pepper Calamari and a Double Beef and Bacon Burger and there wasn't a single bad mouthful between us. My brother is very particular with his Burgers and he told the Staff that it was the best Burger he has ever tasted...and I mean he's really REALLY particular. lol. Well priced, great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Next time we promised that at least 1 Steak will be ordered...

Waited 2 and a half hours for food to come out, half the menu was unavailable. My dinner companion ordered a medium rare T-bone steak presented as boned out and still mooing, he had then had to chase his steak around the plate before he sent it back. I ordered the southern style chicken salad and 2 and a half hours later a mixed lettuce salad with kewpie dressing came out with 4 sweet chili chicken tenders on top came out no part of the dish could be considered "southern style" there was nothing to even remotely cajun or southern about it. There were other guests walking out throughout the wait for meals thank god red rooster was just across the carpark. Hats off to the maiterdee for his hard work and dilligence waiting on 7 tables with little to no back up from the other staff.
