Moe's Southwest Grill

Just went here for some food. Service was excellent! The guy making food our food was quick efficient and listened to what we wanted. Very friendly. The cashier girl was really sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. HOWEVER! Not soon planning to return, because of the incredibly unprofessional behavior of the manager or whoever was in charge at the time. He BARKED orders at his staff in front of customers. And there was a pick up order cooking and he was very rudely yelling at his workers looking for the order and asking if MY order that I was standing in front of was that online order. I could see by the look on the staff’s faces that this is a normal occurrence for them to be yelled at in such a manner. I loved the way the staff treated me, but I’m not going to support the business of a someone in charge treating hard working staff so poorly. I’ve worked in food service myself, and I know how it feels to have a mean boss. This man shouldn’t be in a position of authority if he’s going to act like that with no regards to the customers standing right in front of him!

As far as Moe's goes this one is excellent. The team was lively and expedient. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean. For some reason, they felt it needed to be 12 degrees farenheit in the restaurant (it was so cold, I heard at least two other tables comment on it), but other than that, my experience was great. If you need a quick bite and you are tied off the one thing you always get at Chipotle (because everybody orders the same thing every time from their limited menu), then enjoy Moe's. Kitschy classic rock music, delicious food, more options at better prices, and a funner atmosphere (at least, in my opinion).

We hadn't been to a Moe's in a long while. The first time we went the food was good and the restaurant was pretty clean. A week or so later we went back to the Moe's in Palm Harbor on Us Hwy 19. There were 2 people working (one was the Manager). Every table was dirty. Chairs and floors need to be cleaned. The fountain drink area was a mess. Both employees were having a conversation with someone they seemed too know. Not once did either of them come out to clean anything! Sadly this restaurant is not on our list anymore. Especially now during the Pandemic and restaurants closing left and right. I would think you would want to be on your game!
