Palo Alto Cremery

We wanted a nice dinner and Palo Alto Creamery popped up. Looking at the dinner menu on line you would'nt have guessed the place to look like a retro diner. We ordered the steak meal, cherry crumb pie, and Palo Alto beers. Friendly staff, meals securely packed, and food was amazing. Mahalo for our last meal here in Palo Alto, CA.

Service and baked goods are all amazing! Great outdoor patio with heat lamps for "dine-in" during the pandemic. Cocktails and sandwiches are a bit overpriced and underwhelming but the turkey chili is very tasty and you can tell great care has been put into it's creation. Also just to reiterate, the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all their dishes. And definitely don't skip dessert of any sorts here!

The only real downside here that I have to seriously dock a star for is the paper straws. Christ, they are horrible. Please look into another brand of paper straws that is more durable and doesn't soggy/break apart when you go to sip the milkshake. Or consider switching back to plastic or some bamboo variant that doesn't break apart. The milkshakes are impossible to drink with a paper straw because of the extra effort you have to exert to get such a thick liquid up. You end up weakening the entire structure of the paper straw and the top becomes frayed and gross. We had to go back to downing it with spoons and cups.
