Picked up a some breakfast on my way to work and saw a line out the door! But they were so quick and efficient I was at the front of the line in under 5 mins! The guy who helped me was kind and patient and we exchanged pleasantries, which seems to be lacking nowadays. It honestly gave me that neighborhood feel and comfort and that was my first time there. Any more bagel breakfasts, I'm definitely sure to stop here from now on!

Super sweet staff, New York style bagels and the quintessential Boars head meat makes me miss New York bagel shops. They do it so well here! Their lox style bagel FREAKIN AMAZING🤤😋

Best bagels in the Bay Area. Always fresh, and so many choices. They usually run out of many of them by the afternoon. I love the jalapeno ones, the garlic and the everything ones. Lots of cream cheese choices too, as well as drinks (sodas) and desserts. Great food.

I have been going to the Palo Alto House of Bagels for over 40 years. This is their 5th location in that time. Same owner, same great bagels, same great service. Not all the HOBs are the same. This one is the original.

Great place for bagels. This is a local favorite - good variety of and excellent bagels. Fast service. Coffee was pretty good too

Very fresh and tasty bagel sandwiches and fresh squeezed orange juice is my favorite breakfast here.
The bagels turn super hard like rock if not consumed in 3/4 hours. If you want a dozen bagels for next one week, better buy a pack from a grocery store.

This fast early day bagel shop specializes in Bagels of many, many variations. HOUSE OF BAGELS- EXCELLENT BAGELS OF COURSE. COMPARABLE TO STARBUCKS, PEETS COFFEE, EXCEPT STAFF WAS NOT FRIENDLY. LIKE EVERY DAY WAS MONDAY TO THE STAFF MEMBER... COFFEE IS GOOD, AT TIMES BETTER THAN COMPETITION.
MANY LOCATIONS, CATERING, BULK ORDERS, PARTY TRAYS, ETC.

I can honestly say that House of Bagels is the best bagel place in Palo Alto, possibly even the Bay Area. I rediscovered this place in the college years and have only continued to feed my obsession. I (ironically) live in NYC now, but can’t find a bagel as satisfying or delicious as this one. I have to get my fix when I come back for visits and HoB is always here producing fresh and delicious bagels. If you’re here an unsure where to get a delicious breakfast, come by and support one of the best!
