Waffle House

First time ever visiting a Waffle House. I have to give it 5 stars. It’s been around for so long, successful, and delivers what it is. Small, not a ton of seating, cheap breakfast prices, not a big menu, servers are nice - you can tell they do way more than other servers at other restaurants, 3 servers, two cooks and a manager running this place. Food was delivered as expected, it’s basic breakfast food! It was clean in the areas we are eating, behind the counter a little messy but they just got done with the breakfast rush. Will be back.

Terrible service. Just went in there and waited over for 20 min to make a to go order. Both lady’s said it would be a second. Another gentleman was waiting to make an order and we both waited over 20 min and when they just were standing there we asked if we could order now. Her response was “ no it’s still going to be awhile so you have to wait “ We were in there almost thirty min waiting and never even got to place an order while we watched numerous other people get served and helped. I have been eating at this location for over 20 years and tonight was it. I can’t believe the laziness from the staff. There was 4 employees working total that I could see but somehow we couldn’t get service. Lovely.

My son and I had breakfast here. We both had Texas toast breakfast sandwiches. I had grits, which were great and my son had hashbrowns and ruined them with ketchup. Otherwise the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly with a nice crisp on top. We asked for our sandwich eggs to be cooked medium and they were. Our coffee never went empty as our server Kaylee was very attentive. The employees were kind, we were greeted upon entering and told to have a nice day on our way out. I love Waffle House and stop when traveling as we have none in Wisconsin.

Passing through with my family and we stopped at this location. Short staffed which we didn’t mind because we had time to kill. Food was good but gave a one star for the attitude of the waitress. Seemed like she was on drugs and brought everything to our table one thing at a time. Brought everything to the wrong table and kept messing up orders. Kudos to the cook tho!
