Haymaker - North Peoria

I travel the US full time and I love stopping at little local eateries like this. When it comes time to order I always ask the same question, whats the favorite or whats the best thing on the menu. Today I was met an immediate and confident response, The Haymaker Benedict. With an answer that fast and that confident I had no other choice!! It was definitely good. As their menu states, “it’s perfect the way it is” I definitely recommend

The Haymaker was a great spot. The bar area was great. Had a couple really good bloody Mary's!!!! Bar tender was a very nice guy. I had a brisket breakfast skillet & it was delicious. My dad had an American slam breakfast it was fantastic as well. Father in law had a breakfast burrito. He enjoyed it as well. I will definitely be heading back to this place for some good food as soon as I can. The service was great as well!!!

I love a good breakfast spot, especially when you can eat it for dinner. I had the haymaker Benedict...wow, very very good. It is a very unique dish with all kinds of stuff on it and I loved it. Would definitely go back for that one. Wife had a breakfast burrito which was also tasty. My son loved the hash browns. Pancakes were just ok, not bad at all, but nothing special, they were just pancakes. Might go back and try not breakfast, but that would be hard since breakfast was so good

-We ordered the Arizona burger and fries. They were both good but wish they were hotter. The burger needed salt but that's preference. The grilled onions were the best part. -The wedge salad was very yummy. Especially with the crispy onion straws. I wish it had come out before the burger. -The ranch is a really nice salad ranch. The balsamic blue cheese was light but flavorful. -The server was around and attentive but the food did take quite awhile. Maybe why it was cold? -The sweet tea was lightly sweet, so I'd say it's the only sweet tea I've ever enjoyed. - We will be back.
