Stumbled upon this restaurant while escaping the rain during a walk. Really lovely atmosphere, staff were really friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend, nice place to take the children too as it had a small play area overlooking the lake. Lovely and clean, including the toilet facilities.

Very nice and tasty meals, also has some nice light bites and snacking options.

Nice position, sitting outside overlooking the rowing lake was pleasant. Coffee & cake deal was good value. Only negative was trying to find staff to serve us. Sat outside for 10 mins and saw no-one so had to go inside and then eventually someone came out from behind the bar. Assume they're short staffed.
