100% Had the most fantastic team event the other week at Marrickville bowling club. It was perfect, the lawn bowls was fun, everyone was so happy, outdoors- so covid safe, the bar staff were so friendly and helpful, and Bik the chef at Rita's Bistro put on the most amazing food for the team of 40, so varied, catered for all dietary requirements, he is a fantastic chef! The staff are so down to earth, relaxed, friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to have our next event there. Highly recommend having your next event here and having a great feed with Rita's Bistro looking after you!🤩

A star to the lady at the door who had the audacity to make me pay $10 after paying $30 to a club that I always get into free with a smirk. Not very good to force membership on someone like that, better to ask ‘ would you like a membership and can you afford this, Rather than shoving it in down my throat with no remorse. Turn a good night on its head by stealing from the unemployed.

No frills fun times, good place to catch up with mates or see a gig. Their schnitzels are made fresh and I rate them highly. Saw Amal and the Sniffers playing live here - combination of the venue + explosive live performance was something that I'll remember forever. Love this joint, proud member of the bowlo.

It's old and barely scraping through the 80s but I go there for the live music and dancing. The timber floor is sometimes a bit sticky but gets over itself after a bit of persistent dancing on it and smooths out. Then it's quite good to be on. It's a reasonable size and the band is visible from all areas except the dining room. Don't eat here if you want to be able to talk over the music. The food is quite good though, even with a minimal menu. The staff are mostly friendly.
