Wishbone

This is a great place to eat. I got a piece of dark chicken and a scoop of Mac and Cheese. Denise picked up a piece of white chicken and a Mac and Cheese. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have many classic sodas. Everything is on the first floor. And they have a customer bathroom. I highly recommend the Wishbone restaurant.

I’ve been eating here for 3 years. Compared to all the places you can get a good fried chicken sandwiches, none of them can produce a fried chicken sandwich better than Wishbone does. The Banh Mi sandwich is crispy, juicy, and is paired well with the fresh lettuce and freshly pickled vegetables. You are missing out if you do not choose Wishbone.

I feel like I need to go to confession because the flavor in these white meat tenders and Mac and cheese is sinful! Damn! I make my own killer Mac n cheese and this has nothing on mine. Seriously the best I've had and I'm a world traveling foodie! Nothing healthy about these except the portions! Worth the try! Added plus the selection of beer is pretty vast.

Okay, so when the chicken is fresh, it is AMAZING! I really think it’s one of the best out there. But sometimes it sits out for a bit and dries out under a heat lamp, and it is still pretty good, but not the mouthwatering perfection that the fresh chicken is! I do really like the fries and their fountain sodas too. It’s good flavors all around. But I think the biggest star that separates Wishbone from other chicken spots in town are their dipping sauces. There is a delicious sauce for everyone here. My favorite is modern BBQ with rich flavor and a bit if a kick. I don’t want to admit how many pounds of chicken I bought from here over past five years, but trust me it’s a lot. Even though chicken is a little inconsistent sometimes, the place is so delicious it keeps me coming back. Just be careful coming in at 2am because all the drunk people move straight from bars in here, and it is kind off a busy crowded nightmare. Props to the amazing staff members running the shop for keeping the space clean and the service fast even with 40 drunk people in the shop. I recommend going around opening time for early lunch when you get that first batch of chicken. And I know their mac’n’cheese is very popular, but trust me and get some fries! They make them fresh to order and the portion is massive!

Great food, great vibes! The employee at the counter was super helpful and let me taste their signature sauce and their Mac and cheese since it was my first time. Loved the Mac and cheese! Their signature sauce was yum too, I’ll definitely try the wishbone sandwich next time. I got the Nashville hot and it was spicyyy but not unbearable. Great slaw. There are a couple tables to sit inside but I got my food for takeout. 3 double fridges worth of beers/sodas to choose from, and house made cocktails, and alcoholic slushies! Wow! Lots of options here. I also really liked the s’mores bar!
