Excellent Mexican spot. For a vegetarian option, the veggie burrito is quite good. A few friends favorite spot for tacos near Fishtown

Que chula has been a staple of my diet for 10 years! The best Mexican food I’ve found around the world. Love the Chile relleno and the enchiladas verde. Salsa verde is top notch!!!!

Great, down-home Mexican food. Definitely try the molè chicken. Love that they put beans on the chips, ensures that my little one eats plenty of protein when we go there.

Please is fantastic! The prices are good and that as high as other authentic Mexican restaurant, the food is so fresh and made to order The drinks you must have the bartender knows what they're doing and the is great.

Shredded chicken chimichanga was excellent, burrito poblano and guacamole were pretty good. Not a fan of the chips stuck in the quac tho, they got soggy.

Fantastic and friendly. Server was super nice. Chips and salsa to start. Margaritas were on point. Food was seasoned very well and everything had a kick. Reasonably priced.

I don't know why I waited this long to eat here. I've only heard good things about it, but I finally stopped in this morning. I was there early when they opened on a Sunday and they were pleasant and welcoming. We had our dog with us so Beto happily setup the outdoor seating. He even brought water out for her. Having lived in Texas for 4 years before moving to Philly, I've been looking for good authentic Mexican (not Central American) food. This is one of the best spots in the Fishtown/Olde Kensington/NoLibs neighborhoods! My fiancee got the lengua tacos and I did the Pancita/Menudo. The tripe and broth were so comforting. I was disappointed to not see breakfast tacos on the menu, but no fear, our super accommodating server Beto asked me what I wanted and had the kitchen make me a single huevos a la mexicana taco con chorizo. Their salsa verde is fresh and addicting. I normally don't care for salsa roja but the chiles they use in it are smoky and I ate more of it than I usually do. Their chips were also fresh and not stale, and the addition of cotija cheese with the broth from refried beans drizzled on top of the chips was delicious. When we paid our bill, Beto brought out free samples of their jamaica (hibiscus) and horchata agua frescas! Needless to say, we'll be coming back here again! Mucho gusto, Beto!

It was my first visit and I can say right away that I am definitely coming back! The service is great and food is awesome! I had a Steak Burrito, while my girlfriend had Steak, Chicken and Pork Tacos. The steak was flavorful and not overcooked. The tacos were excellent, especially the pork taco with pineapple! There is plenty of seating for friends and family to dine. While we were there we saw a lot of "to go" orders being picked up.
