Tate's Good Food Restaurant

Everything about this place is great. The staff is super friendly and the food is a great price and good portion sizes. I did think the Buffalo chicken steak could be a little spicer, but I'm pretty sure if I had just asked, they would have done that. The chicken was juicy, too. I haven't sat down to eat there, but it always looks so warm, clean and inviting.

This place is the hidden gem brunch restaurant. It have the history soul of holmesburg photos hanging and it’s really beautiful to represent holmesburg. The food is amazing homemade vibes. The French toast is really good! Waffles was unbeatable. The pancakes is chef kiss! One time I had s’mores pancakes they were so good! Hint of cinnamon Graham crackers with chocolate drizzle and marshmallows on top,yum! The coffee is always brewed fresh. before I conclude, try the Tate’s Fries you will thank me for the reviews. This place is always forever in my heart!

Food is great! The service is awesome during the week but on Saturday, it's bad. I know they're busy but there's no reason to be rude or ignorant to a customer who spends $70+ dollars (take out) every visit, sometimes twice a week. My first weekend visit, they were horrible! I stood at the counter for 20 minutes while waitresses walked around me. 1 asked was I waited on, I told her not yet, she continued to answer the phone and take orders. Another waitress came over and said she would take my order but I would have to wait another 45 minutes. There was no sugar coating either, they were rude. Even when I said nevermind, I'll go somewhere else. She just said, "ok"... AL'S was good, right down the street, Great food and less expensive. I spent $90.00 that day. Tates would have cost more, Guess Tates didn't need it!
