Four Son's Pizza

A very good slice of pizza that certainly slaps the spot. I found the overall size of the slices to be more than adequate for the price being charged, and the array of slice options were certainly plentiful enough. The crust tastes like it was properly fermented and the sauce and cheese are quite harmonious. I'm very happy.

I was so skeptical when new owners took over but let me say, I am not disappointed. I used to order here when it was four sons pizza and even then, I used to go to their location under the el near Dauphin St on Kensington Ave. I used to go there everyday after school since I took the train. So I’m technically an OG customer lol. Pun intended. The pizza is different from what I remember the old owner made but to be honest, I think the pizza made present day (under new ownership) is waaay better. The dough is just amazing. It’s soft and chewy with the perfect amount of char. I prefer this style of fire grilled pizza. The sauce is good. It’s cheesy and delicious. The cashiers and delivery drivers are pleasant. I also love the outside seating, although I remember there used to be indoor seating. They removed it. All in all, if you’re looking curious to try, I say do it! Some recommendations I have are: there is a ramp with a railing upon entering, consider a handicap accessible button to open the door for those who may need it. There’s limited parking. Literally 3 spots next to it so you may need to find street parking which is sometimes iffy on Frankford. It’s a liiiiitle pricey but I think it’s worth it :)

I regret sleeping on this place for an entire year. I'd been going to Pizza Shackamaxon, but recently got tired of their expensive slices which recently went up to $6. $6!!! Following that, I finally decided to give OG a try and they did not disappoint. The sizing of the slices are generous w/o being absurdly large and they have great flavor. Good cheese, sauce, and very good dough. And for only $3 and change. Yes, please. They make good pizza AND are reasonably price. Shackamaxon has lost their minds.

I’ve been eating here since I was 12 years old at the original location on Front Street they were name originally Four Sons.. After college I moved and years have gone by that I move back to the neighborhood and I just thought that they were not a business day closed because it happened at least 15 years have gone by or more. To about a year ago after my boyfriend mentioned a pizzeria call OG and I was googling them and I realize that they were the original four Sons I was so happy and proud of so many memories of my childhood and the delicious Pizza said that they have I never ever had a problem with any other food. My boyfriend grew up with this pizza so it’s something that we share together.. It made me so happy to go and get my slice and realized it still taste the same when I was 12 now that I am 42.. now they’re at a better location on Frankford Avenue it’s still the original staff still makes the pizza now there are different other flavors. of course the pizza cost a little bit more but is worth the price especially if you want a pizza that looks good that is baked in a brick oven. And the pizza is bigger than a regular slice.. The pizza is delicious!!! it just gives that back that day old school Italian pizza. The sauce is amazing!! The shop is very clean they’re very professional you can see your food being made they were gloves when they are serving your pizza. ❤️❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
