Grand China Buffet

This place have lots of variety of food with all kind of flavor. However, the reason why I took 2 stars off because the food can’t hold its temperature. I literally came in and got seated by the host and right after I got my first plate of food, I took a bite and the food is cold. Only some food are hot and some are warm. Food tastes good only when they are at the right temperature.

Great food. So much variety!! Something for everyone. And the food is good! A little more than the buffets my family is used to going to, but its worth it. The only problem we had was having to flag down our waitress to get drink refills and get the used plates off of the table. But I think we've found our new buffet! 😉🤗

Beware of their pricing. Expect a demand for tip. Server takes your plates even before you are finished. Communicates in broken English. Servers do not have any training in dealing with customers. Visited 15 July 2021. When we were shown our seats we had mentioned that we have 4 seniors (10% discount for seniors is available) however when they billed us at the end they charged us the normal rates. We had ordered some carry out for which they charged us 5.59 and 7.99. We pointed out that the menu mentions lunch as 5.49 to which they replied that its just a matter of a dime! When we mentioned that they had charged us 7.99 for the 2nd box they said that it had fish. However, their carryout order mentions 7.99 for shrimp or sushi. Their reply to that was sushi, shrimp, fish are all the same thing! Its tough communicating with them as they don't know English well so there is a lot gesturing and yelling. They had a decent menu however the dessert spread was stale especially the fruits.

They have a decent assortment of foods. When it’s busy their wait time is always less than 10 minutes. The green beans and shrimp with zucchini with white rice is one of my go to meals here. The staff at the front had made me pay twice upfront rather than after I eat…not sure if it’s because it may have been busier? I always have to ask the servers to give me more water. Sometimes they just stand there and talk amongst themselves without paying attention to the tables. It’d be nice to have them remember to fill it up or maybe leave the pitcher of ice water at the table. It’s also the only buffet in Pa that’s close to bucks county, if there were other options I’d try them, but I’d still go here from time to time.

First time we've been back since Covid hit. Selection was the same, servers still not very friendly and don't reply when we thank them for taking our plates away, same low-class junk they're trying to sell hits you in the face as you open the door, and same issue with all of the food being only luke-warm or cold. It's a shame. Most of the food could taste good, if it was hot. Entrance outside is worse, with trash laying around and some old rug balled up next to the bushes. Save your money.

Should have walked out once I walked in an smelled smelly fish. The food was cold. There was a layer of thick film on the gravy. The kitchen person was stirring the food around to make it look fresh. My husbands first plate of food was questionable but he went in for another plate and said the food tasted rotten. I had one plate, it was cold. Only took a few bites before we decided it was time to go. Got the check, 42$ for 2 ppl. And 2 and half plates of food. When I said the food was cold and nasty the cashier said they chef was making more food. I complained even more bc of how high the bill was for such terrible food and got a 10 % discount. Such a waste of money. Don’t waste your time.
