Always enjoyed the portions as a student; many years later, still a great place for mighty sandwiches. One of the few places with good sweet potato fries without a huge upcharge, which my partner greatly appreciates. The food's great, but these days it's takeout or nothing -- not sure it's my scene anymore, anyway. The small indoor seating area means you're packed in and the noise really has nowhere to go, so it's constantly grating.

We tried the fire-baked Brie and the sweet Caroline pizza. Both were perfect and the price was reasonable. At first the Brie tasted weird, but we soon discovered that the mixture of different flavors in that plate was amazing. We also loved the pizza, thin crusted with tons of toppings. The combination of sweet sauce and jalapeño was impressive. Will come back next time for other dishes.

Decent American style food, great selection of beers, friendly staff, and a great location for lunches or nights out. The pulled pork sandwich is great and they have a wood fired pizza oven, so the pizzas are delicious too. If you're looking for light food options then this will be a harder task. Outdoor seating in the summer. Dine-in or takeout.

Our server Emily was wonderful. Very attentive. My husband's meatloaf was not what he was expecting. She asked if he would like something else. He asked for the fish sandwich, which he really enjoyed. We're not one to complain often when eating out. Not many places offer good service and good food together. Hope they appreciate you Emily

This place is great!! We stopped in for lunch with a group of 6 after visiting the natural history museum. Despite it being mid-day, we were seated quickly and service was friendly, attentive, and fast. It seems like the target clientele is college students, but on a Saturday at lunch time, it didn’t feel too rowdy or loud to be able to enjoy a conversation with our family. The menu has a wide selection of options without being overwhelming and we were able to find options that worked for everyone, including the vegetarian in our group. They have an impressive selection of whiskies, cocktails, and beer. We stuck to the beer menu with lunch and all the local selections we tried were quite good.

My boyfriend and I definitely found a gem when we accidentally stumbled on this place after looking on the map for a place to eat on a bike ride through the city. This place was awesome! It was our first time here and everything exceeded my expectations. The waitress was attentive, service was quick, and our food was delicious and served hot. The menu is large, has very unique and funny names for the food, but best of all there are choices for any palate. The decor is interesting and the atmosphere is laid back and fun. I felt the prices were reasonable for the portions you get and the quality of the food. They also have a very large menu for those who like to have an alcoholic beverage as well. I ordered the meatloaf dinner, vegetable of the day, and sweet potato fries. Meatloaf was delicious, vegetables were very flavorful and seasoned well, and the sweet potato fries were crispy, fresh, and hot. I would definitely recommend trying this place out and we will be back!!

Very good food, great atmosphere, friendly attentive service, food came out quickly, and prices are decent. There are a fairly wide range of food options to choose from. The mussels are fantastic, a little spicy and a great flavor to the beer/butter sauce. The BBQ bacon sandwich got two thumbs up from my daughter. The fry mix was tasty and unique. Even the coffee was good. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is the black bean and quinoa burger wasn’t as flavorful as advertised. It was just ok. All in all, we’ll definitely be back!

Me and hubs and daughter went for dinner last night. It was my first time there. Very close to everything. I had the pulled pork sandwhich that came with bacon and cheddar and sweet potato and regular fries. Hubs had the chorizo sausage and my daughter had a cheeseburger. Food was made to order which I really liked and they make it right there where you can see which is a major bonus. Everything was really good even the drinks. Not bad on pricing either
