Roman Bistro

Met a friend here for dinner. It was my first time dining here and I thought it was pretty good. I had the lasagna which was a very large serving (really enjoyed the leftovers which were large enough to be its own meal.). Drink special was half-off martinis and I had the Manhattan which was very good. Recommended.

I was visiting from Utah and my son chose this place for his birthday dinner. It wasn’t a large place but the atmosphere was elegant. The best part was the prime rib. This was the best prime rib I’ve ever had in my long life. It was cooked exactly as I had requested and they had seared it to a very flavorful crispy perfection! I have never had seared prime rib before, and don’t think I will ever be satisfied with regular prime rib again. 5 stars!!!! And we got the chocolate cake for dessert and it was amazing! Excellent meal!!!

Went tonight for dinner with a friend. Always a great place to go. Never a disappointment. What was most stellar was the waiter, Jake. Didn't make a single mistake. Both my friend and I were waitresses in a younger life. Complimented him and the owner on how well he does his job. Ask to sit in his section. Food was very good.

I’m writing this review solely because Jake was a great server. The food was ok but he made up for the mediocrity with his great service. He was prompt with answering questions and there to top off glasses when the last sip was gone. If you ever go here, ask for Jake, he’ll make sure your experience is top notch!!

I love the Roman Bistro! It’s been one of my favorite places for years. The food is consistently good and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. It’s also a great place to stop for dinner before heading into the city for culture or sports. Happy hour is always a hit, as the crowd seems to agree. I would recommend reservations. Enjoy!!
