Update: Haven't been able to get a hold of the shop on a couple of occasions. Hope you guys are doing alright. It would be a shame to lose another childhood favorite. Have been going here for nearly 30 years. Remember getting slices as a kid. Great Pizza. I live far away from here but still manage to get takeout once a week or so.

Stick with me here: My mom is 81 and has dementia. For years, I’ve regretted never learning her recipes for her nutroll-which was the best I’ve ever eaten-and her MEATBALLS-also the best I’ve ever had. To the point that I NEVER order meatballs ANYWHERE. Why be disappointed? My significant other doesn’t have this issue and orders them everywhere to try to get me to try them. He did this at DiPietro’s. I am SO FREAKING GLAD he did! Their meatballs are exactly like my mom’s! They are flavorful, correctly seasoned, and moist! I dare say, the best in the city. If I ever meet Mr. DiPietro, or whoever has made this trip back to my childhood possible, they’re getting a hug and my sincere thanks.This made my whole year! Everything else we have had here-chicken piccata, chicken romano, pizza, hoagies, etc has been equally as wonderful. (My SO hates capers, except in the piccata from DiPietro’s.) This place ROCKS! Are they a little more than many places in the area? YEP. Is the food much better than many places in the area? HECK, YEAH! I’d pay a little more any day for this quality. If they keep producing this quality of dish, I will keep ordering food for my family from DiPietro’s. The quality is well worth the price.

I've only been here since Covid and they've only been serving take out. I can't wait till they open up for full dining but everything that I've gotten so far has been wonderful. I've mostly gotten carry out pizza and their pizza is amazing. All the different pizzas that I've gotten have been better than the next their crust has a wonderful flavor and so does their sauce. I can't wait to try some of their pasta

The food here was good and portion sizes large. This is a family-owned business that's been around for over 40 years. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Our server was attentive without being a pest. We ordered a couple appetizers and two entrees. Each was tasty, though not remarkable. If bread is your thing, the bread service included ay least 7 slices of fresh, soft-style Italian bread. The music over the entertainment system was a blend of 40s music and Harry Connick, Jr. while seemed fitting for the setting. If anyone in your party uses a wheelchair, the restroom facilities do not appear to be ADA-compliant. Though each of the two stalls in the women's restroom had handicap bars, there is no way a wheelchair would fit in the stall. We will definitely return to DiPietro's.

Been dining here since I was a child. Food and service are excellent. Over the last 2 years, the menu has been expanded. My only complaint is that the expanded menu needs expanding. Smelt, squid tubes with tentacles offered in olive oil, butter, garlic, etc., branzino, tripe, roasted peppers with anchovy salad, and a seven fishes holiday menu would have me dining here daily.

My husband and I went for the first time last night as we're new to the area. We were met at the door by warm, smiling faces and felt so welcomed our entire visit. Food was incredible (I'm currently eating my leftovers for lunch and it's just as good the second time around!). We will definitely be going back soon.
