Cadillac Ranch

Stopped in to Cadillac Ranch for lunch with some friends. #1, they have added a rodeo bull finally. We searched for one last time we were here and turned up empty handed. Now, as a HUGE fan of Columbo, I have begun this quest to find the best cup of chili at any restaurant around. This one was very...alright. Too many raw onions as a topper, not enough thickness to the soup in my opinion, but good flavor and great meat. The blackened salmon salad, however, was scrumptious. Where is the child from the movie theater commercials? We were hoping to meet him! I'm sure he's still ten, right?

Cadillac Ranch has a unique atmosphere that is worth going to, their food menu is limited but what they serve was good. We had their coconut shrimp, chicken avocado tacos, and southern chicken which all was very good. Their Coleslaw has too much vinegar in it and their fried are good but salty. They do have Happy Hour but you got to sit at the bar. TO ride the bull is only $1.00 unless you ate a LSC Member then it is free. Free parking.

My wife and I went here for date night. We were looking for something new and different. Here is my detailed review. Pros: The decor is pretty cool and well themed. There are several bars unfortunately it means extra staff members to man. My BBQ chicken was great. It is kind of rare to find simple BBQ chicken on a menu anymore. Waitress and hostess were very friendly. My wife enjoyed the coconut shrimp with the sauce. We were seated immediately with no wait on a Friday night at 6PM Cons: My ribs had a weird flavor to them. It was a spice and I thought it did not pair well with the BBQ sauce on it. Not a do over. The mixed fries was weird. My wife's sweet potato fries were cold. The atmosphere was cool but lacked excitement. Overall... I would go back but I would order something different.

I enjoyed Cadillac Ranch on two occasions, once for drinks before a movie nextdoor and the next night for dinner. For the first time, I enjoyed trying the local beers before seeing a movie. The next night, I enjoyed the steak and mashed potatoes. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant had plenty of seating options and also offered live music.
