My family's been coming here for over 40 years. Great homemade, traditional, and fresh food. Fried zucchini app is a tradition in Pittsburgh. Service is friendly and efficient. Rico's is an institution in this city.

Awesome dinner. My husband had veal and I had Virginia spots. Also the crab appetizer was to die for. I would highly recommend Ricos. Our server was very slow and not much interested in waiting on us. However the other servers were attentive to their guests. Therefore we will be back. The food is worth it.

Wow food was great! Can't say that about the service, Lori our waitress proceeded to tell us how great of a waitress she was, but she fell short. Next time don't tell your customers how great you are, show them

Absolutely wonderful, delicious, food. As soon as we walked in the door a delicious odor hit our noses. I'm from Cincinnati and this was some of the best Mexican food I've had. Puts some of the restaurants at home to shame. Definitely go here if you can. You won't be disappointed.

Shrimp & Lump crab + pineapple, upside down cake martini & Tito's with pineapple juice & cherry juice drink.
Meal specs:
Chunky pieces of crab, veinless shrimp with white wine & garlic lemon butter. Very good!
Bartender:
Chris was very attentive & nice.

I have to say lunch was delicious. I had a gift card to use & we are 50 minutes away. Figured a nice lunch with the wife. Started off with fried zucchini flowers! Had these all the time when my parents had a garden. Wife got the salmon & scallops. I got the broiled scrod. Dessert we got tiramsu & I think strawberry cheesecake. House salads also delicious. If ever in the area a great spot to stop.

One of the best places you can get Italian food in Pittsburgh. The field dishes the pasta dishes the seafood dishes all cooked to perfection. Great wine selection and the service is impeccable. I may be a little biased but that's okay people who know me know why.

Rico's hosted my Mom's 90th Birthday dinner in a private room. From the planning to the serving to the end of the evening, everyone was attentive and kind. The food was delicious, with an appetizer buffet and sit down meal, highly recommend for parties and an evening out!
