Peggy was amazing. She handled a big crowd of us ladies from card club holiday party. She was calm, attentive, got everyone’s orders and checks perfect. Our large group was taken care of beyond our expectations. She was amazing. Thanks for taking care of us crazy gals so well. You made our luncheon. 10 stars.

One of our favorite go-to places when we are in the Aspinwall area. Delicious food, good service and nice atmosphere. Today's waiter, Nico, was exceptionally good. Professional, yet very friendly and personable. Will ask for him the next time we stop by. You should do the same....you won't be disappointed!!

Walnut Grill - Fox Chapel was nice enough for a birthday brunch on a Saturday around noon. It wasn’t by any means busy, but there were a good number of people in the place. Jessica was our great server with lots of check-ins and attentiveness. The food was pretty good but didn’t stand out from the pack. The restaurant served its purpose but didn’t make an indelible mark on me.

I have never had a bad meal here and have been surprised by the presence of breakfast items on the menu. The diversity on the menu is, at first, overwhelming. However, they carry off all the dishes quite well. There's a good selection of appetizers and soups. Entrees range from $15 to over $30 for standard and creative sandwiches and fancier entrees like steaks and crab cakes. I am a fan of the battery dipped Cod sandwich while a friend of mine loves the Cajun Salmon sandwich. It's rare that a place is both good for a pop-in meal and a fancy dinner, but Walnut Grill pulls it off. The service and atmosphere are slightly above average.

First time trying this place and it was awesome. Hubby ordered filet, I had the chicken. He ordered it medium rare. It was taking a long time, but the server came up and explained they had overcooked the steak and she didn't want to serve it like that so she had the kitchen remake both of our meals so they were done right and fresh. She thanked us for being patient (honestly he probably would have eaten it anyway, he eats my cooking lol). She offered us a free dessert. We weren't at all mad but that was a nice touch. Then the manager comped our meal anyway. They really didn't have to do that. The meals were fantastic and the staff was very friendly we will definitely be back in the future.
