We were a party of 10 for a birthday celebration & could not have been happier with our special evening at Silvioni's! Everyone was happy with their food which almost never happens 😆. The fried zucchini & greens & beans apps were delicious- & we're Italian & particular about greens & beans! The homemade hot sausage was amazing.
The staff was busy but friendly and efficient & brought out our birthday cake with candles blazing which was a nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful evening Silvioni's! Can't wait to come back.

Kara (sorry if I spelled it wrong) the waitress with the colors in her hair had the most amazing energy I’ve experienced in a restaurant! Outstanding service even with all the commotion going on with other diners. Definitely ask for her! She made my mother’s birthday dinner so great! The food was definitely amazing and delicious! Thanks to the cooks as well❤️❤️

Bartender Carrine had a attitude at first. She needs customer service training. Was our first time there. Talking stern to us and huffing and puffing. She got 20% tip would of been 30% we spend moneyTold her we were sorry for bothering her. Food was delicious. Had fried fish and chicken Marsala. Stuff banana peppers

Great food. I would eat here again. However, I was hoping for a more authentic Italian taste. The service was great, and I loved the atmosphere.

This is my 3rd visit here. During the ownership transition I installed 8 tv's. They treated us to lunch that day. I had the stuffed banana peppers with a side of mash, really tasty. Tonight I'm having the chicken Marsala. It's really good. Nice sauce, good portion. I'll be back again for sure.
Only complaint, and it's basic...
A flat plate is a bad choice for a side of pasta. Please use a shallow bowl so the pasta can be mixed without it falling all over the place.
Ok, I just received my check. See third pic. Pasta side is said as included with entre, charged extra 2.50. Also, waitress said I could have the side of broccoli substituted for the side salad I didn't want. Charged 1.95. Not cool.

Excellent Italian food, wonderful servings, I always leave with leftovers. They have been working well with social distancing so you might have to wait but it's so worth it, the wait staff is working hard so please take care of them! My platter of lasagna, 2 ravioli and gnocchi was excellent, also the wedding soup and always happy to have some bread since I was hungry! It all heated up well the next day also. Enjoy!

Another great Italian Restaurant just like Monte Cellos! This is another great go to restaurant here in Pittsburgh. The Chicken Parmesan here is great and the service was wonderful too. If you don't like the crowds at Monte Cellos and don't want Pizza this is a great alternative. Parking here and at Monte Cellos is crowded at peak hours. Both restaurants could use more parking spaces

Excellent service food was more than prompt and hot. Way cheaper than olive garden.

This was such a great find! Tucked away, right of a busy road, its a little difficult to find however, once you know where it is you will keep coming back. Silvioni's has a quintessential 70s italian grandma's living room vibe, in the best possible way! Black and white family photographs hang from the walls which have the most tasteful Tuscan countryside vibe.
Food was really really good and very reasonably priced. The best part about this place though was it's service. The servers were very accommodating of any substitutions and specific food requests. I had the ricotta eggplant parmesan and surpassed any other preparation I have had of this dish. Eggplant was perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside. Ricotta was lovely. For a side a had a caeser salad (very fresh, albeit a bit overdressed) and pasta aglio olio. This is where I deduct half a point. The pasta was cooked a tad longer than al dente (although a lot of our older party prefered it this way) and the olive oil used was not of a very good quality. The accompanying bread was not the greatest either. That being said, I was floored with the hospitality. The owner even sat down with us form a while and spoke at length about his travels to Luca as we tried to figure out how our two families (My husband and his very Italian-American family) are related (lil' bit distantly).
This place filled me with a sense of warm fuzziness which happens with good good and great conversation.
We will be definately returning here! For more reviews, recipes and travel pictures visit me @thatcurrysmell on instagram.
