Arpino Trattoria

Well for my first time living in PA most of the restaurants that I’ve tried either have dull service with bland food or dull service served with bland food; however, I hear about this quaint spot and decided to give it a try like everything else I have since being here which has only been roughly 3 weeks. In my opinion the ambiance is simple and inviting, which always shows more times than none that the food will be up to par if not better than expected judging off of past experiences else where. I had a great lady for s server who offered me a variety of options in which I chose Trenna with Vodka sauce in addition to Aracini, and a rack of lamb with garlic whipped mashed patatoes and I must say it was well worth the journey. I mean the food in itself was beyond exquisite and flavored to perfection! I just couldn’t believe it literally! The lamb melted away in every bite then something as simple as mash potatoes brought to life as if to say yes your taste buds are working. All in all I felt welcomed, and left with not only a full stomach but s piece of mind knowing that there are still places in this city let alone state that still can “throw down” in the kitchen. If the wife decides it’s a cook- free night then it’s off to Arpino to get a genuine home cooked meal without leaving the country!!!!!!

Nice, tiny, clean, cozy. The staff is great and efficient. The food is really very good and they try to rotate the main dishes so to offer a wide opportunity to taste different preparations. Probably the best in the area. I was really satisfied with my dinner, with the size and quality of the portions, the only point is that it’s not so easily found.

The most amazing wait staff, and great little dining area. The food is fresh, and with a great chef behind the command center the experience at Arinos is one that is hard to find in the entire pittsburgh area!. The rice balls are to die for and the menu is simple but to die for. Your taistebuds are beghing for food this great!
