Custards is my choice for local ice cream stand. They may not have the selection of other competitors but their prices are better and they are friendlier than most. The only drawback is that they are not open year round, but that makes sense given their business, and I can't fault them for that as I'm the odd one who wants ice cream on January 1st...:)

Custard's is a great local spot for ice cream. The prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly HS kids working for the summer. There is a large covered patio with seating and an exterior customer restroom. I have been here a few times and it's always been a good experience. Lots of parking including behind the building.

Nice classic ice cream stand! Covered outdoor seating, decent prices and cute location. Just down the road from Avonworth park.
They also have 2 dairy free ice cream flavors so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

My wife and I got the twist cone, our son got an all chocolate. As good as the twist was, that chocolate was the real winner. One point for the boy!

Really yummy custard, I got a slushy float which was a slushy with ice cream on top and it was delicious! My husband got a cone of orange creamsicle soft serve. Lots of outdoor seating, cute place!

Weekly flavors in rotation and love the fact the serve liter milkshakes 🤣

Love getting the chance to stop here. Ice creams good. Staff is efficient and helpful. Always clean. Some parking is right off the street- be careful backing out.

Great selection of ice creams. Great service. They do take debit/credit cards but you cant tip with them. Make sure to take some cash
