The Pie Place

I went to the shop 2 days before Thanksgiving to order an apple strudel and a mixed berry pie. Not surprising they were not taking new orders for Thanksgiving, however they did offer me an alternative. They had frozen product (take & bake) of both the strudel and mixed berry pie including baking instructions on the boxes. The strudel just had to be thawed, the pie had to be baked. Both products were excellent as they always are and I learned yet another procrastination lesson but also discovered that procrastination may be a good thing when the Pie Place has your back!!!!!!!!!!!! I have lived in the south hills my entire life and I never knew this was here. Well, I do now… we LOVE Coconut Cream Pie and this was by far the BEST we have ever had. We will most definitely be back , so many other Pies I NEED to try. 5 stars are not enough I give you 10 and you have the cutest little dishwasher ever.❤️

I am a Pittsburgh native living in the DC area but regularly visit family in the 'Burgh. I have tried several items at the Pie Place such as biscotti, assorted bars, pepperoni rolls, and enjoyed everything. My picky niece had a 12th birthday to celebrate, and freshly arrived in town, I inquired about a birthday cake at the Pie Place. Despite a busy schedule for graduation cakes, they were able to accommodate a request for a basic cake of vanilla with sprinkles, and it was ready the following day. I also tried their coffee and granola bars on that day, and both were excellent. Vanilla cake is not usually something I would pick, but it seemed a good choice for my niece. My entire family, including me, LOVED this cake. Hands down the best vanilla cake we've ever had!!! Thank you so much for accommodating my order! Will be stopping by next time I'm in town.

I’ve driven by this place countless times and randomly stopped in last week. Holy wow! Everything is great. I got a few mini tarts / pies for Mother’s Day, some truffle bites for the kids, and a brownie for myself. Outstanding! I highly recommend you go here if you’re looking for a dessert or a sweet treat!

A lovely place with a huge assortment of delicious goodies. I couldn’t decide so I bought several mini pies and some mini cream tarts. So good!! I’m a crust girl and the the crusts are exquisite. The pepperoni rolls were a nice surprise and I’m excited that they serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks. The brownies are so delicious, especially the lemon ones. Never had a lemon brownie and I was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely become one of our family’s favorite indulges.

Trying to go to fleet feet and it’s closed until eleven. So walking and my mom says why don’t we try the pie place. So we went in. Amazing. The girl (one of the owners) amazing. She was a huge help in letting us know about the salt in the products. I’d give it a ten out of ten but that’s not possible. I tried to give a tip and the girl said no. Yins should try it. Once in awhile though. Not every day thing. Very very sweet.

I love this place so much. It’s one of the last charming, heartwarming places I can name in this area. The people that work here are so nice too. I think I’ve spoken on the phone to the owner a few times — I order my father a pie here every year for his birthday and one for Father’s Day. We got the Apple strudel for the first time tonight and the apples are still slightly crunchy - it’s absolutely a remarkable feat. We love you please don’t ever close!!
